1. Does the system require a network connection?
The VF VeriFlexx access control system is a stand-alone system that does not require a network connection to operate.
2. Which cards can be read with the system?
VF VeriFlexx can read EC, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and RFID cards. It can also read virtual cards from Google Pay and Apple Pay.
3. Can customer loyalty cards also be used with the VF VeriFlexx system?
Customer loyalty cards can be read by the VF VeriFlexx system, provided they are cards from the MIFARE series (13.56 MHz). In this case, the loyalty cards must be programmed into the system by VF-Systems GmbH. A flat fee applies for programming.
Optionally, we can also supply you with pre-printed and encoded cards (for an additional charge). In this case, we will handle the complete programming. For this, we need your print file.
4. What requirements must be met at the installation location? What components do I need to be able to use VF VeriFlexx?
A pulse-controlled or continuously powered door opener must be installed on the door to be opened.
5. Where are the VF VeriFlexx reader and the associated controller box installed?
The RFID reader is mounted on a suitable surface on the door to be opened. The controller box is usually located inside the building, e.g., in a server room or control cabinet, with access to a PC or laptop.
6. What is the maximum distance between the VF VeriFlexx reader and the associated controller box?
The maximum distance between the RFID reader and the controller box is up to 30 meters. The cable cross-section must be selected accordingly. The greater the distance, the thicker the connecting cable should be.
7. Which operating system is required?
You need a standard PC or laptop with Windows (Windows 11 or older Windows versions). Requirements:
- Windows operating system
- USB interface
There are no other system requirements.
8. Is age verification possible with the VF VeriFlexx system?
The VF VeriFlexx system is used exclusively for access control. Age verification must be carried out using a separate age verification device.
9. Is it possible to pay in-store with the VF VeriFlexx system?
VF VeriFlexx only allows access to 24/7 shops, farm shops, and self-service supermarkets. Payment must be processed via a separate self-checkout scanner or POS system.
10. Is the software included? Are there license fees? Are there updates?
When you purchase the VF VeriFlexx system, you receive the associated software, including pre-configured payment methods. There are no license fees. Software updates are not required.
11. A new bank card is not recognized. What should I do?
Make sure the bank card has already been used with PIN entry. Only then will the RFID module on the card be activated.
