The universal motorized card reader ROBUST can be used with all reading technologies for processing chip, magnetic stripe, barcode and RFID cards be equipped. The robust mechanical design and the safe electronic control allow use in almost all hardness areas. The spring-loaded card transport (optional) can also read paper receipts (Leporello). The card reader has all interfaces (RS232, RS485, Ethernet, USB, etc.) and can be combined with our card dispenser. In addition, barcode scanners and RFID modules as well as external devices can be integrated. The card reader offers a wide range of uses in vending and accounting machines, in gate and barrier systems, in the area of authorization control and much more.

Our motorized card reader ROBUST can be configured individually. You have the following options:

Integration of a shutter in all versions for protection against environmental influences, foreign bodies and manipulation including detection of the shutter status (open / closed) by means of a light barrier and / or additional locking
Integration of an IO board with relays, optical inputs and other optional interfaces (serial interface, USB interface, USB interface for CCID, network TCP / IP)
Integration of RTC (Real Time Clock), also in connection with radio clock module
Integration of a flash data memory (up to 32 Mbit)
Integration of chip card interface via USB
Optional connections for additional devices via RS232
Integration of beeper / buzzer
Integration of an anti-skimming sensor
Integration of a signal LED for status display
